  • 4. Have fish and chips at Longs in Bridport. Possibly the best fish and chips ever?
  • 5. Visit the world renowned hill top town of Shaftesbury. Famous for Gold Hill and Abbey Walk.
  • 6. Step back in time and visit the deserted village of Tynham. Requisitioned by the army during WW2 and never reoccupied. Donít forget to continue on to Worbarrow Bay, where the sea is the most amazing turquoise blue.

  • 8. Lie on the beach at Abbotsbury. Listen to the waves moving the shingle bank.
  • 9. Treat yourself to a trip on the Swanage Steam Railway. The line which runs from Corfe Castle to Swanage, through the stunning Purbeck countryside, has been lovingly restored by railway enthusiasts.
  • 10. Visit Bridport's legendary street market. Held on Wednesday and Saturday selling a cornucopia of plants, fresh produce, vintage artefacts, local pottery, jewellery and much more.
